Played with the visual aspects. Rather than using all the s's from the start added a more visual / for sword and O for stairwell. Now we have the option to add s for snakes and S for Serpents(big poisonous snake.) later. Proposal: letters represent monsters - lower case for trivial, upper case for bad-ass bosses.

I like this idea of letters representing monsters! Perhaps we could even have "boss-levels"...I can imagine that the S (big poisonous snake) could move through the dungeon kind of like the classic "Snake" game. Instead of going directly for the player, it moves to eat food first and then grows bigger with each piece of food it eats!?   That would be a neat "boss-fight" sort of thing. =D

I like the idea of multi square monsters that move in interesting ways and was also thinking of multisquare weapons such as a spear.  We could also have poison clouds etc.
